Campaign Details and Donations
According to the announcement, for every card activated with the Svitolina design between May 19 and June 19, WhiteBIT will donate 15 USDC to the Elina Svitolina Foundation. The exchange emphasized that the initiative blends product utility with a charitable purpose.
To encourage early adoption, the first 200 new users who activate the skin will receive 10 USDC directly credited to their card. WhiteBIT sees this as a way to make crypto more practical for everyday use while supporting a meaningful cause.
Elina Svitolina’s Impressive Track Record
Svitolina, a former world No. 3, has won 20 WTA titles and an Olympic bronze medal. She arrives at Roland-Garros fresh off her third Rome title, which she claimed just days before the Grand Slam event. That victory also marked her 20th career WTA crown, a perfect 8-0 record in clay-court finals, and what many see as a strong statement heading into Paris.
“Sports create opportunities – on the court and beyond it. For me, competing at the highest level has always come with a responsibility to give back. Supporting young Ukrainians through education and sport is something I’m deeply committed to, and partnerships like this one help make it possible,” Svitolina said in a statement.
WhiteBIT’s Broader Strategy
WhiteBIT argued that the collaboration reflects its ongoing expansion across international sports. The exchange believes the initiative can help connect with global audiences and drive cryptocurrency adoption by embedding its products into real-world scenarios.
Volodymyr Nosov, Founder and President of W Group, noted that sports and crypto share similar principles: both reward discipline, move quickly, and are rewriting the rules of what’s possible. He added that partnering with Svitolina is a natural fit for WhiteBIT Nova, which aims to turn digital assets into a practical financial tool for people on the go. The collaboration also highlights shared values like ambition, resilience, and philanthropy.
Overall, the limited-edition card design is part of WhiteBIT’s effort to make crypto genuinely useful. The WhiteBIT Nova Visa card lets users spend crypto anywhere Visa is accepted, with balances converted at the point of sale. By linking the campaign to a live Grand Slam moment and a recognizable athlete, the exchange hopes to reach audiences beyond the typical crypto community.
