LayerZero Holds Near $2.29 Ahead of $2.344 Resistance Test

LayerZero price retreated to about $2.29 on Oct. 12 after touching $2.483 earlier in the session. The token is below daily resistance at $2.344, and traders are watching an Oct. 20 unlock of 23.63 million ZRO. The daily chart still showed a gain of 8.27%, while the 4-hour view was down 3.42%, so the advance lost some momentum without flipping the day negative. The session low was $2.096.

Resistance and nearby levels

On TradingView, Murrey Math levels put the closest resistance at $2.344. ZRO briefly moved above that line during the run to $2.483, then fell back under it. A clean hold above $2.344 would bring the session high back into view. Above that, the next plotted levels are $2.539 and $2.734, though those are chart references, not guaranteed targets. To the downside, the nearest support sits at $2.148, about 6.2% below the current price. The session low at $2.096 is below that, with another daily level at $1.953.
Chaikin Money Flow was 0.02. It remained slightly positive, but weaker than earlier in October. Analyst Limbo called the area important resistance on a higher timeframe and said a break would lead to a buy. Pentoshi also noted the resistance test but expected the advance to continue. Both comments keep attention on whether ZRO can settle above resistance after pulling back.

Channel and liquidation map

The 4-hour chart shows an ascending channel from September into October. ZRO fell below the lower boundary during the correction, then rebounded toward it. At around $2.29, price is close to that lower line. Holding it could support a move back inside the channel. Renewed weakness would make the recovery look fragile again.
The 4-hour Supertrend was $2.089, near the daily low of $2.096. That creates a tight support zone around $2.09 to $2.10. ADX was 24.31. It measures trend strength, not direction, so it does not say whether buyers or sellers have the next edge. CoinGlass data showed a large liquidation concentration near $2.50, with more bands at $2.48 to $2.49. Below the market, clusters appeared near $2.28 to $2.29, $2.24, $2.21, $2.09 to $2.10, and about $2.06. These are estimates of where positions with borrowed funds could be pressured, not proof that liquidations will happen.

Unlock and exchange changes

DefiLlama lists an Oct. 20 release of 10.63 million ZRO for core contributors and 13 million for strategic partners. That is 23.63 million tokens, or 5.92% of circulating supply, worth roughly $54.1 million at $2.29. The schedule shows when tokens become available; it does not show how many will be sold.
The unlock follows exchange changes tied to Stargate Finance’s merger into LayerZero. Binance said on Oct. 7 that it completed the conversion at one STG to 0.08634 ZRO and ended support for old STG deposits and withdrawals. KuCoin issued a similar notice on Oct. 10. Anchorage Digital also said it selected LayerZero for interoperability supporting stablecoin issuance, adding a U.S. institutional link. For now, $2.344 resistance and $2.148 support frame the next move.
