XRP continues to trade in a tight range, stuck between $1.0077 support and $1.2898 resistance for nearly two months. The token recently changed hands at $1.1022, still far from breaking out. This prolonged consolidation comes as institutional demand for XRP ETFs shows signs of cooling.
ETF inflows weaken sharply
Data from SoSoValue reveals that spot XRP ETFs attracted no new assets over the last three trading days. For the month so far, these funds have pulled in just $12.3 million — the worst performance since April. That’s a steep drop from $59 million in June and $131 million in May. Cumulative inflows remain at $1.4 billion, with total assets under management around $997 million.
One possible reason for the slowdown is that investors are rotating into equities. Some of the most popular funds this year track the S&P 500 or the newly launched Roundhill Memory ETF. When stocks perform well, crypto ETFs often lose momentum.
Positive news from Ripple Labs
On the development side, Ripple Labs is still working on improving XRP Ledger’s utility. This week, t54 — the company behind the XRPL x402 Facilitator — announced that AI agent payments on XRPL now support Mastercard’s Verifiable Intent (VI) standard. That means developers can prove who authorized a payment, under what limits, and for which purchases. It’s a step toward making the ledger more useful for real‑world transactions, though it’s unclear how quickly adoption will follow.
Technical outlook remains cautious
Looking at the daily chart, XRP has stayed within a narrow range. The price is below its 50‑day exponential moving average, and the relative strength index has slipped under the neutral 50 level. That combination suggests bearish pressure is building.
If the token breaks below the key $1 support, the next stop could be the psychological $0.50 level. But as long as it holds above $1.0077, the range might persist. The market seems to be waiting for a catalyst — either stronger ETF demand or a broader crypto rally — to push XRP out of its current zone.
For now, both bulls and bears are on edge. The next few weeks will likely decide whether XRP can reclaim higher ground or drop to new lows.
