Binance Resolves PLUME Listing and Airdrop Issues After User Complaints

Binance Fixes PLUME Airdrop Issues After User Complaints

Binance says it’s sorted out the problems that plagued the PLUME airdrop event, which had to be postponed after users reported being locked out of participation. The exchange confirmed in a recent update that the technical hiccups have been resolved, and eligible participants should now see their PLUME tokens in their spot wallets.

The airdrop, totaling 150 million PLUME—about 1.5% of the token’s genesis supply—was meant to reward users who held BNB in Simple Earn or yield farming products between July 24 and July 28, 2025. The listing, originally set for August 18, got pushed back due to what Binance called “participation eligibility issues.” The team didn’t go into specifics, but the delay seemed to stem from complaints about unfair access.

“Listing for PLUME will proceed as planned,” Binance said in its statement, adding a brief thanks for users’ patience. It’s a small reassurance, though some might still be wary after the initial stumble.

How PLUME’s Price Reacted to the Delay

The token’s price didn’t exactly collapse after the postponement, but it didn’t soar either. PLUME hovered in a tight range, bouncing between $0.98 and $0.1006—a modest recovery of about 2.6% from its lowest point. That’s a far cry from the 10% jump it saw right after Binance first announced the listing, when it briefly touched $0.1076.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) told a similar story. It shot past 70, signaling overbought conditions during the initial hype, then slid back down to the mid-50s before settling around 45. That drop suggests the bullish momentum fizzled out once traders digested the delay.

Still, the fact that PLUME didn’t crash entirely might mean there’s lingering interest. Or maybe it’s just traders waiting to see if Binance’s fix actually holds. Crypto markets have a way of shaking off delays—until they don’t.

What’s Next for PLUME?

With the airdrop distribution supposedly wrapped up, the focus shifts to the relisted trading date. Binance hasn’t announced a new timeline yet, but if everything goes smoothly this time, PLUME could see another push.

Then again, crypto airdrops don’t always go as planned. Some users might still be checking their wallets, wondering if they got what they were owed. And if the token’s price stays flat, the excitement could fade fast.

For now, though, Binance seems confident. Whether that confidence is justified? We’ll find out soon enough.
