Cardano tests a key weekly level
Cardano is drawing attention for a possible weekly chart reversal. Analyst Giannis Andreou says a cup-and-handle pattern may be forming after ADA rebounded from the $0.14 to $0.16 range last month and built a rounded bottom. The setup is not active yet. For the bullish case to be confirmed, ADA needs a weekly close above $0.278 and then a successful retest of that level.
The trigger matters because the current price is still below it. CoinMarketCap data shows ADA at $0.2238, down 3% in 24 hours and 11.5% over the past week. The token is still up 13.5% over the past month, so part of the recovery remains intact. To reach $0.278, ADA would need to climb about 24.2% from current levels. Until that happens, the projected targets are conditional.
Targets above the breakout
If ADA clears $0.278 and holds it, Andreou’s chart points to $0.3633 and $0.3995 as near-term levels. The analyst also identifies an approximate cup-depth target of $0.416. That would be a 73.5% increase from the chart’s reference price of $0.239.
A move beyond those levels could open higher targets at $0.5116, $0.8059, and $0.9601. The most ambitious level on the chart is $1.3291, which implies a 477.4% gain from the same reference price. These numbers depend on ADA clearing the breakout trigger and keeping its upward structure. Andreou warned that losing the rising support line would weaken the setup. A breakdown below the $0.14 to $0.16 base would undermine the pattern.
Recovery calls remain cautious
Other market observers see a shorter-term rebound. Crypto Banter analyst Sheldon expects Cardano to resume its upward move within seven to 10 days. In a YouTube livestream, he said market weakness may last another week or two before cryptocurrencies stage sharp recoveries. He expects ADA to turn green once consolidation ends, especially if prices reach his buying zones.
Crypto commentator George compared the possibility to Solana’s comeback. SOL went from $8 in 2022 to an all-time high of $294 in 2025. For ADA, a similar move would need sustained buying demand and better broader market conditions. I think the chart is worth watching, but the $0.278 weekly close is the line that separates a setup from a confirmed move.
