Shiba Inu Bearish Indicators Point to More Downside

Shiba Inu is looking weak again. The token has tried to recover several times in recent months, but it remains below key resistance. Sellers still seem to have the upper hand. Three technical signals now suggest the next move could be lower.

Rising volume in the downtrend

One warning sign is the increase in trading volume during recent price declines. Daily candles show stronger selling activity as $SHIB nears the $0.00000460 to $0.00000480 support area. Rising volume on a down move usually points to real seller participation, not just temporary weakness. If buyers do not step in soon, the token may struggle to hold current levels. A clean break below $0.00000460 could open the door to the previous lows around $0.00000420. The $0.00000400 level may also come into play because it is a round number that often draws attention.

RSI points to weak momentum

The Relative Strength Index is another concern. On the daily chart, RSI has moved toward the lower end of its neutral range. That reflects weakening momentum. $SHIB is getting closer to oversold territory, but that alone does not mean a bounce is near. In a long downtrend, RSI can stay low while price keeps falling. A sustained move below the 30 threshold would add to the bearish case and raise the chance of another leg down.

Moving averages stay unfavorable

The moving-average setup also remains poor. $SHIB trades below several important averages, including its longer-term trend line. Shorter-term averages are turning lower, which raises the risk of more bearish crossovers. If those crossovers happen, they would reinforce the current downtrend and might keep buyers on the sidelines. The $0.00000520 to $0.00000560 area is now key resistance. $SHIB would need to reclaim that zone to improve its technical picture.

For now, selling volume is up, RSI is weak, and moving averages remain bearish. That combination leaves substantial downside risk. The first targets are $0.00000460 and $0.00000420. A deeper support level sits at $0.00000400. Unless $SHIB can reclaim its overhead averages and attract stronger buying volume, the path of least resistance still looks downward. It is not a guarantee, of course. Crypto markets can reverse quickly, and low liquidity can make moves sharper than expected. But based on the current chart, the bears appear to have the advantage.
